UPDATE: Hackettstown police locate hit-and-run driver (VIDEO)

UPDATE: Hackettstown Police said Thursday they have found the driver of a car involved in a hit-and-run in which a man was injured.

The name of the driver was not released.

Original Story: HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – The Hackettstown Police Department are looking for a car that struck a person and drove off Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened at about 1:12 p.m. at the intersection of Route 46 and East Moore St.

According to police, a black Hyundai driven by a young female was making a left hand turn from East Moore St onto Route 46 eastbound when she allegedly struck a 24yro man from Hackettstown, NJ in the crosswalk.

The vehicle continued east on Route 46 and was missing a left rear hubcap.

The man sustained a knee injury and refused medical treatment at the scene.

Assisting at the scene was the Hackettstown Rescue Squad.
