GREENWICH TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Warren County woman is facing multiple charges including driving while under the influence following a crash in Greenwich Township.
Jane C. Germinsky, 64, of Stewartsville was charged with driving
under the influence, reckless driving, possession of an open/unsealed alcoholic
beverage container, failure to wear seat belt and failure to inspect.
On Friday, Jan. 4, at around 7:00 p.m., police responded to the report of an overturned 2001 Saturn SL1 at the intersection of Jefferson Drive and Hamilton Drive, police said.
After police arrived, the driver, who was identified as Germinsky, had to be pulled from the vehicle by officers, police said.
Germinsky was transported to St. Lukes Hospital – Warren Campus by the Greenwich Township Emergency Squad, police said.
Upon further investigation, it was determined that Germinsky struck a residential fence and tree before her vehicle overturned, police said.
Germinsky was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol, and test results are pending, police said.
Also assisting at the scene was the Stewartsville Fire Department.
