A Hackettstown Woman Attacks Friend With A Vacuum Cleaner Attachment!

Chatham Township (Morris County) – On Tuesday evening(1/26/16), Shi Feng-Bartner,53, of Hackettstown, New Jersey was charged after she allegedly attacked a Chatham Township homeowner with a vacuum cleaner attachment. The officers observed the homeowner bleeding and the interior of the home had sustained extensive damage,when the officers arrived on the scene, police said. Feng-Bartner, who was a family friend of the homeowner was allegedly holding a metal cylinder used to strike the homeowner, which police believed to be the metal part of a vacuum cleaner hose. Feng-Barter was subdued and placed under arrest by officers after she failed to comply with their orders, police said. She was taken to Morristown Medical Center for a psychiatric evaluation. The homeowner was taken to Overlook Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. Feng-Bartner was later released from the hospital and was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of criminal mischief in relation to the attack. It’s unknown what prompted the attack.
