Blairstown homeowners scare off burglary suspect, police say

BLAIRSTOWN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) – Police need your help to find the suspect responsible for two home burglaries in Blairstown Township.
 
The burglaries occurred Monday at 3:00 p.m. in the 120 block of Hope Road and on Briar Hill Lane, police said.
 
The suspect entered the homes and both times he was scared off by the home owners, police said.
 
The suspect is describe as a black male, a slender build, 5’8, curly hair, mustache, beard/go-tee, multiple tattoos, wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt, police said.
 
The suspect was seen operating a dark blue 2005 Eddie Bower Edition Ford Explorer, police said.
 
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Blairstown Township Police Department at (908) 362-8266 or if the vehicle/person is seen call 911.
