Hackettstown (Warren County) – Jerome Postell,33, of Cliffwood, New Jersey allegedly had just lit a joint when he was pulled over late Saturday night(3/26/16) by Hackettstown police.
As Postell was being stopped at 11:29 p.m. on Route 46, he allegedly stuffed the joint into his underwear, according to police.
The officer observed smoke coming out of the car and could smell the odor of burning marijuana, according to police.
Postell had in his possession a bag containing suspected marijuana and a silver grinder, which also had suspected marijuana, police said.
Postell was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintenance of lamps. Postell was released pending a court appearance, according to police. (Photo Courtesy: Hackettstown Police)
