Woman assaults husband with wooden rolling pin, police say

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) – A woman was jailed after assaulting her husband with a rolling pin, police said.

On Sunday, July 3 at 12:04 p.m. police responded to the Mansfield Village apartment complex on the report of a female assaulting her husband with a “wooden piece” and damaging his vehicle.

Police determined that the female had struck her husband in the neck with a wooden rolling pin and damaged a vehicle using a rock.

Police located the female walking outside the complex and she was then arrested.

The female was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and criminal mischief. She was lodged in the Warren County Jail with $15,000.00 bail and a required mental health evaluation, police said.
