3 sent to hospital after I-80 crash in Warren County (PHOTOS)

HOPE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Three people were sent to the hospital Sunday afternoon after a crash on Interstate 80 in Hope Township.

The crash occurred around 1:35 p.m. on Interstate 80 westbound near mile marker 12.8.

According to a witness, an SUV was allegedly stopped in the center lane before being rear ended by a pickup truck.

Three females in the SUV were taken to a Pennsylvania hospital and no one in the pickup truck was hurt.

Two juveniles in the rear of the SUV, who were seated in their car seats, were moved to another vehicle by other family members who came to the scene.

Traffic was backed up five miles until the crash was cleared.

Hope Volunteer Fire Department, Knowlton Rescue and Allamuchy-Green First Aid Squad assisted at the scene.
