Crews on scene of brush fire in Knowlton Township

KNOWLTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren county) – Crews are working to contain a brush fire burning on Knowlton Road in Knowlton Township.

The fire started Friday shortly before 12:00 p.m. and has spread to 8-10 acres, according to radio reports.

So far, crews were able to get the flames under control before they reached any homes.

Firefighters from Knowlton Township, Blairstown Township, Hope Township and the New Jersey Forest Fire Service are on scene.

There is no word on what sparked the flames.
