Man, 18, charged with hosting underage party in Washington Twp.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A 18-year-old man was charged for allegedly hosting an underage party Saturday evening.

At 11:30 p.m., Cpl. Thomas Falleni responded to East Mill Road for a motor vehicle complaint. Upon arrival, he found a vehicle that was partially blocking the lane of travel, police said.

Cpl. Falleni then approached the private residence in which the vehicle was parked in front of, police said.

A further investigation by Cpl. Falleni found that 24 individuals were participating in an underage party, police said.

The age range of these individuals were 14 – 18 years old, police said.

Andrew Shampanore was allegedly the host of the party and was charged with hosting an underage party. He was released with a pending court date in Washington Township Municipal Court.

All juveniles were later released to their parents who arrived on scene.
