Pickup truck catches fire on I-80 in Hope Twp, no injuries (PHOTOS)

HOPE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A pickup truck was destroyed after it caught on fire Sunday evening along I-80 in Hope Township.

At 6:13 p.m., firefighters from the Hope Township Volunteer Fire Department responded to Interstate 80 eastbound near mile marker 10 for a fully engulfed pickup truck on the shoulder.

The fire also spread to adjacent brush alongside the roadway.

The occupants of the vehicle were out of the vehicle when firefighters arrived on scene and no injuries were reported.

Assisting the fire department was the Blairstown Ambulance Corp.
