CLINTON, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Warren County man was charged last month following an investigation into a residential burglary in Clinton Twp.
On September 15 at 1:10 p.m., township police responded to a report of a residential burglary that occurred on Allerton Road, police said Tuesday in a news release.
Police initially determined that various jewelry and electronic equipment were stolen from the home, police said.
On September 16, Detectives and Police Officers from Clinton Township Police Department tracked the alleged suspect, Hasheen Sanders, 38, Phillipsburg, to Plainfield NJ, where the detectives conducted surveillance and eventually arrested Sanders, police said.
Sanders was taken into custody at the Dunellen, NJ Train Station, where detectives found him to be in possession of property that was stolen from the Allerton Road burglary, police said.
Sanders was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property, two counts of burglary and two counts of theft. He was lodged in the Middlesex County Jail pending future court dates.
