Roadwork to begin Monday on Route 519 in Lopatcong Twp.

LOPATCONG TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – The Warren County Department of Roads is planning to begin road work on Route 519 at the Morris Acres Tunnel on Monday, Nov. 26 in Lopatcong Township.

Starting on or about Monday, crews will be performing a road project with a road closure and detour until the spring of 2019.

All traffic traveling Route 519 southbound will be detoured to Route 57 West, turn left onto Strykers Road to Route 519.

All traffic traveling Route 519 northbound will have a lane shift in place at the tunnel in the area of Change Water Stables.

“Please pay attention to all posted signage. Road construction projects can present challenges for residents, businesses and visitors in and around the project limits. Traffic controls are put in place for the safety of the commuters and the workers. Please use caution when travelling though the project work areas, and let’s keep everyone safe,” police said.
