1 airlifted after crash on I-78 in Warren County

GREENWICH TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – One person was airlifted to the hospital following a crash on Interstate 78 in Warren County Tuesday afternoon, according to New Jersey State Police Sergeant Alejandro Goez.

The crash happened at 2:21 p.m. on Interstate 78 westbound at milepost 4.6 in Greenwich Township, Goez said.

The accident involved a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer, Goez said.

The driver of the vehicle sustained serious injuries and was flown to St. Luke’s hospital. Two other occupants were not injured, Goez said.

The accident remains under investigation.
