1 airlifted after crash on Route 31 in Hunterdon County

HAMPTON BOROUGH, NJ (Hunterdon County) – One person was airlifted to the hospital following a crash on Route 31 in Hunterdon County Tuesday, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Philip Curry.

The crash happened at 6:06 p.m. on Route 31 southbound at milepost 39 in Hampton Borough, Curry said.

The crash involved at least two vehicles, one of which was a truck with motorcycles in the back, Curry said.

The driver of one of the vehicles, who was identified as a 54-year-old female from Washington, NJ, was airlifted to Hunterdon Medical Center but her injuries were not considered life threatening, Curry said.
