1 dead, 2 injured after car crash in Roxbury Twp.

ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Sussex County man has died from his injuries following a crash in Roxbury Township on Tuesday afternoon, according to Roxbury Township Police spokesperson Jen Dillard.

The crash happened at 4:19 p.m. on Howard Boulevard in the area of the Ledgewood Plaza, Dillard said.

The accident involved a 2015 Ford Fiesta driven by a 28-year-old man from Flanders, NJ and a 2004 Ford F350 driven by an 18-year-old man from Sparta Township, NJ, Dillard said.

A 69-year-old man from Stanhope, NJ was a passenger in the Ford Fiesta, Dillard said.

All three were transported to an area hospital. The 69-year-old died from his injuries, Dillard said. The names were not released.

The crash remains under investigation and no further information was available.
