1 flown to hospital in Christmas Day crash in Sussex County

FRANKFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – One person was flown to the hospital after a crash in Sussex County on Christmas Day, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Charles Marchan.

The crash happened at around 4:01 p.m. on County Route 565 in Frankford Township, Marchan said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that two vehicles traveling on County Route 565 became involved in a a crash causing one vehicle to overturn, Marchan said.

One occupant was flown to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Marchan said.

No further information was available.
