1 injured after firearm discharged in Morris County home

CHESTER, NJ (Morris County) – A person was injured after a firearm discharged in a Morris County home Wednesday, according to police.

The Chester Police Department is investigating an incident involving a person who was injured following the discharge of a firearm at a residence in Chester, police said.

“There is no threat to the public at this time,” police said.

The incident remains under investigation.
