1 injured following two-vehicle crash in Warren County

WHITE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – One person was taken taken to an area hospital Tuesday after a two-vehicle crash in Warren County, according to New Jersey State Police Sergeant Lawrence Peele.

The crash happened at 5:29 p.m. on County Route 519 in White Township, Peele said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a Chrysler 300 was traveling southbound on Route 519, when a Volkswagen Passat traveling northbound attempted a left turn in front of the Chrysler and was then struck, Peele said.

The driver of the Volkswagen suffered an ankle injury and was transported to an area hospital, Peele said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, Peele said.
