15-year-old on electric skateboard injured after being hit by car in Hunterdon County

FLEMINGTON BOROUGH, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A 15-year-old boy riding an electric skateboard was injured early Monday morning after he was struck by a vehicle in Flemington Borough, according to the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office.

The crash occurred at around 2:00 a.m. on May 30, at the intersection of Reaville Avenue and Route 202 in Flemington Borough, authorities said.

A 15-year-old boy, operating an electric skateboard on Reaville Road, was struck by a vehicle, being operated by Raymond Lozinak, 61, of Bayonne, traveling northbound on Route 202, authorities said.

The boy was flown to Morristown Medical Center and remains in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, authorities said.

“No charges are pending at this time,” prosecutor’s office said.

The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office and the Flemington Borough Police Department are investigating the crash.
