2 airlifted after ATV crash in Sussex County
LAFAYETTE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – Two people were airlifted to a hospital after an ATV crash in Sussex County Saturday, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Alejandro Goez.
The ATV accident was reported at 4:44 p.m. at a residence on Beaver Run Rd, Goez said.
According to Goez, the Tracker Off Road ATV, driven by a 49-year-old man from Lafayette, NJ, struck an embankment and a rock. As a result of the impact, the driver and passenger, a 45-year-old woman from Butler, NJ, were both ejected, Goez said.
Both sustained serious injuries and were both airlifted to Morristown Medical Center, Goez said.
