2 arrested after six-week long drug investigation in Warren County

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A six-week long investigation into the alleged distribution of drugs in Washington Township has led to the arrest of an two Warren County residents, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

Cortney Deremer, 28, of Washington and Alonzo Widenor, 28, of Oxford Township were arrested by members of the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force on heroin and methamphetamine charges, authorities said.

Deremer was charged with two counts of third-degree distribution of methamphetamines, three counts of third-degree possession with intent to distribute methamphetamines and heroin, and one count of third-degree possession with intent to distribute methamphetamines within 1,000 feet of a school zone. She was released pending a court appearance.

Widenor was charged with one count of third-degree possession of methamphetamines, and one count of third-degree possession of heroin. He was released pending a court apperneace.

This investigation was conducted by the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force with the assistance of the Washington Township Police Department, Hackettstown Police Department and the New Jersey State Police.
