2 charged, marijuana found after police check parked car in Washington Borough

WASHINGTON BOROUGH, NJ (Warren County) – Washington Township police checking on a parked vehicle behind the Family Dollar in Washington Borough found marijuana and made two arrests, according to police.

On Sept. 6, at around 9:49 p.m., an officer conducting a business check of Family Dollar, located at 30 Route 31 South, in Washington Borough when the officer located an occupied vehicle parked behind the closed business, police said.

The officer’s subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of Taylor Jamieson, 18, of Whitehouse, NJ and Sean McGahey, 21, of Washington, NJ, police said.

Jamieson was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and issued a motor vehicle summons for possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. She was released pending a court appearance.

McGahey was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also had an active NCIC fugitive from justice warrant out of the Madison County Indiana Sheriff’s Office. He was charged and lodged in the Warren County Jail.
