2 charged with shoplifting in Byram Twp.

BYRAM TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A pair of Morris County residents were charged following a alleged shoplifting incident at the Byram ShopRite.

On Sept. 5 at 1:11 p.m., officers responded to a reported shoplifting at Shoprite, police said.

Upon arrival, officers interviewed witnesses and reviewed surveillance video. A license plate was obtained from the vehicle the suspects left the scene in, which came back to an address in Roxbury Township, police said.

Surrounding police departments were advised of the theft and Roxbury police stopped the vehicle shortly thereafter, police said.

The suspects, were identified as Michelle Bloom and Stephanie Bloom both of Roxbury Township. They were interviewed and subsequently placed under arrest, police said.

Michelle Bloom was charged with shoplifting, possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
