
2 face drug charges following traffic stop in Hackettstown
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – A traffic stop Friday night led to the arrest of two people on drug charges in Hackettstown.
Michael Graham, 31, of Manchester, CT was charged with third-degree possession of ketamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to maintain lane.
Michael Demarco, 28, of Warr Acres, OK was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing the administration of law, and being under the influence of ketamine.
On Nov. 15 at around 11:38 p.m., a town officer officer initiated a traffic stop with a vehicle on East Ave for a moving violation.
Through a police investigation it was determined that the driver, who was identified as Graham, allegedly had in his possession 5 baggies containing suspected ketamine, and 4 pipes containing suspected marijuana residue, police said.
The passenger, who was identified as Demarco, allegedly had in his possession a bag containing suspected ketamine residue, police said.
Graham and Demarco were both released pending a court appearance.
