2 injured after box truck overturns on I-80 in Warren County

BLAIRSTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A box truck overturned on Interstate 80 Tuesday morning, sending two people to the hospital.

The crash happened on Interstate 80 eastbound at milepost 9 in Blairstown Township. New Jersey State Police Trooper Brandi Slota said a preliminary investigation revealed a box truck had lost control and overturned.

The driver, who was identified as a 65-year-old man from Branford, Connecticut, and his passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to an area hospital, Slota said.
