2 Mansfield Twp. Walmart employees facing theft, receiving stolen property charges

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Two employees of the Walmart in Mansfield township are facing theft and receiving stolen property charges.

On Feb. 12, at 4:30 p.m., township officers responded to Walmart on the report of employee theft, police said.

Police determined that two employees were allegedly taking left behind receipts and using them to complete returns onto gift cards or for cash, police said.

Stephanie Cialone, 26, of Hackettstown was charged with theft by deception in the amount of $1857.71 and receiving $89.26 in stolen property, police said.

Joni-Ann Tondo, 58, of Washington was charged with theft by deception in the amount of $89.26 and receiving $74.77 in stolen property, police said.

Both were both released pending a court appearance.
