
2 men charged with shoplifting more than $400 worth of merchandise from CVS in Mansfield
MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Two New York men were charged after they allegedly stole more than $400 worth of merchandise from a CVS in Mansfield Township
Officers responded on Aug. 7 at 2:29 p.m. to the CVS, located at 1965 Route 57, for a report of two men who had shoplifted $454.35 worth of merchandise and left the store, police said.
The men had allegedly shoplifted from CVS stores in Washington and Mount Olive Township. They were currently in custody in Mount Olive, police said.
The merchandise was recovered and Haquan M. McWhorter, 29, of Amsterdam, NY and Richard Hernandez, 28, of New York, NY, were both charged with shoplifting, police said.
Both were released on the Mansfield charges pending a court appearance and remained in the custody of the Mount Olive Police.
