2 men charged with using counterfeit money at Morris County Walgreens

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Two New York residents are facing charges after allegedly purchasing items with counterfeit money at Walgreens in Denville Township, police said.

On March 19, at around 9:33 p.m., police responded to Walgreens for a report of two people who just purchased items with counterfeit money, police said.

During the investigation, the Rockaway Borough Police Department located and stopped the suspects for a similar incident occurring in their jurisdiction, police said.

Trumane Gibbs, 29, of Troy, NY and Vincent Valme, 19, of Brooklyn, NY were each charged with theft by deception, and forgery, Both were released pending court appearances.
