2 separate crashes in Tewksbury Township leave 3 injured

TEWKSBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Three people were injured in two separate car crashes Sunday in Tewksbury Township.

The first happened at around 10:10 a.m. on County Route 517 just north of King Street in Oldwick.

A pickup truck struck a utility pole and one person was transported to an area trauma center.

An uninjured yellow Lab was also a passenger in the vehicle and was cared for by first responders until the pup could be picked up.

Then at around 1:20 p.m. two people were seriously injured after their vehicle struck a telephone pole on Fairmount Road East.

Both people were transported to an area trauma center.

The cause of both crashes were not immediately clear.
