2 winners split $951,726 Jersey Cash 5 lottery prize

Two lucky tickets matched all five numbers drawn splitting the $951,726 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Monday Feb. 24, drawing. Each ticket is worth $475,863.

Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

  • Speedy Mart, located at 182 Ridgedale Ave., Florham Park, Morris County.
  • Deli Delight, located at 8-10 New St., Metuchen, Middlesex County.

The winning numbers were: 13, 19, 20, 22 and 42 and the XTRA number was: 02. The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold.

Executive Director James Carey announced that there were 914,733 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1.00 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 153 ticketholders won $496 each and 29 others won $992 each with the addition of XTRA. Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 5,489 ticketholders won $15 each and 886 others won $30 each with the addition of XTRA. Lastly 11,127 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
