2 women accused of shoplifting from Sussex County Walmart

FRANKLIN BOROUGH, NJ (Sussex County) – Two women are accused of shoplifting from the Franklin Borough Walmart earlier this month.

Melanie Dembowski, 20, and Gina Francavilla, 24, both of Franklin Borough, were arrested and charged on July 5 with fourth-degree shoplifting and local ordinance violations, police said.

Dembowski and Francavilla are alleged to have removed merchandise passed the point of sale at the Franklin Borough Walmart on July 5 without providing due payment, police said.

Both were released pending their court appearance in Sussex County Superior Court in accordance with the NJ Bail Reform Act.
