3 charged for shoplifting from Sussex County ShopRite

BYRAM TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – Three Hopatcong Borough residents were charged following alleged shoplifting incidents at the Byram ShopRite, according to police.

On May 3, police received information about two shoplifting incidents that previously occurred at ShopRite, police siad.

The investigation revealed that Jamaal A. Lampkin and Katherine L. Solano shoplifted items from ShopRite on separate occasions, police said.

Lampkin and Solano responded to the Byram Township Police department where they were each charged with shoplifting and released pending a court appearance, police said.

Then on May 5, police received a call about two previous shoplifting incidents that occurred at ShopRite. The investigation found that the accused was identified as Michael A. Demarco, police said.

Demarco responded to the Byram Township Police Department where he was charged with two counts of fourth-degree shoplifting and was released pending a court appearance, police said.
