3 dead in I-80 crash in Morris County, state police say

PARSIPPANY-TROY HILLS, NJ (Morris County) – Three people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash along Interstate 80 in Parsippany early Friday morning, according to state police.

The crash happened on Interstate 80 eastbound at mile marker 45.2 at 1:45 a.m., state police said.

Two adult females and one adult male were killed in the crash, according to Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp.

The identities of these individuals were not released.

The investigation remains ongoing and further information will be released at a later time, Knapp said.
