
3 face drug charges following investigation, traffic stop in Newton
NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – Detectives from the Newton Police Department and the Sussex County Narcotics Task Force on Wednesday arrested three individuals for numerous drug related offenses.
The arrests were the result of a cooperative narcotics investigation between the two agencies. Lisa M. Repici, 31, of Newton, Dominick J. Wilson, 34, of Paterson and Shaunamarie C. Orlando, 30, of Wantage were taken into custody on Oct. 21 following a motor vehicle stop in Newton.
Repici was charged with three counts of third-degree distribution of heroin, two counts of third-degree distribution of ecstasy, three counts of second-degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance within 500 feet of a park zone, one count of disorderly person offense possession of drug paraphernalia, and one count of third-degree endangering another person.
Wilson was charged with one count of third-degree conspiracy to distribute heroin, three counts of third-degree aiding in distribution of heroin, and one count of second-degree distribution of heroin.
Orlando was charged with one count of third-degree distribution of heroin, and one count of second-degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance within 500 feet of a park zone
Repici and Wilson were lodged in the Morris County Jail per the Criminal Justice Reform Act. Orlando released pending a court appearance.
Franklin Borough Police Department, Hopatcong Borough Police Department, New Jersey State Police CAP Program, Sussex County Sheriff’s Office, and the Andover Township Police Department assisted in the investigation.
