
4 winners split $238,180 Jersey Cash 5 lottery prize
Four lucky tickets matched all five numbers drawn splitting the $238,180 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Thursday, Nov. 7, drawing. Each ticket is worth $59,545.
Those tickets were sold at the following locations:
- Korner Store Inc., located at 14 Burnham Rd., in Morris Plains, Morris County.
- Happy Market, located at 369 Broad Ave., in Leonia, Bergen County.
- Quick Mart Food Store, located at 172 South Livingston Ave., in Livingston, Essex County.
- CP’S, located at 210 Main Ave., in Clifton, Passaic County.
The winning numbers were: 17, 19, 22, 28 and 32 and the XTRA number was: 05.
The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold.
There were 339,749 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1.00 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 70 ticketholders won $435 each and seven others won $2,175 each with the addition of XTRA. Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 2,196 ticketholders won $14 each and 442 others won $70 each with the addition of XTRA. Lastly 5,003 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase, according to Acting Executive Director James Carey.
