4th annual holiday home decorating contest for Washington Township, Morris County residents

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – It’s that time of year again to light up the community and dig out the holiday lights, blowups, reindeer, and decorations for the Washington Township Recreation 4th Annual “Holiday Home Decorating Contest.”

Decorate your home front yard in the most creative or festive way possible.

Participation is opened to all residents within Washington Township, Long Valley. To compete in this contest, an entry form showing intent to participate must be completed, signed, and submitted to Washington Township Recreation, no later than Monday, Dec. 4 at 2:00 p.m. Judging is scheduled for Dec. 11-13 from dusk to 8:00 p.m.

Winners will be announced at their “Jolly Jamboree” scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 16 at 4:00 p.m. at Rock Spring Park Pavilion with a rain date of Sunday, Dec. 17.  A representative must be present from each family so that photos can be taken.
