UPDATE: Hackettstown police find vehicle, driver involved in hit-and-run crash

UPDATE: The vehicle and driver have been located, according to Hackettstown police.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – The Hackettstown Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the driver of a possible orange pickup.

The hit-and-run crash happened on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at around 7:55 a.m., at the intersection of Route 46 and Warren St. The vehicle, driven by an older male, struck a pedestrian then fled the scene and traveled Route 46 westbound, police said.

The pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Hackettstown Medical Center, police said.

Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to call the Hackettstown Police Department at 908-852-3300 or send an anonymous tip by texting 888-777 and in the message part you must first type “TIP HACKPD” then type your tip.
