Accidental 911 hang up call leads to drug arrest

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – An accidental 911 hang up call leads to the arrest of a Hunterdon County woman Saturday night.

At around 11:50 p.m., police responded to the area of Isaac Graham Road for a 911 hang up call, police said.

The officer arrived on scene and observed a vehicle parked on the street with several occupants inside. One of the occupants admitted to dialing 911, but stated it was accidental, police said.

Upon further investigation, the odor of marijuana was detected inside the vehicle and after searching the vehicle, marijuana was recovered. The passenger, Hayley Nace, 19, of Milford allegedly admitted to possessing the marijuana and was arrested, police said.

Nace was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released pending a future court date.
