Adderall, oxycodone found during traffic stop in Sussex County

BYRAM TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A Morris County woman is facing drug charges following a traffic stop in Byram Township.

On May 23, an officer stopped a vehicle on Route 206 after observing the vehicle failing to keep right, police said.

During the stop, the officer spoke to the driver, who was identified as Sara E. Devaney of Budd Lake, as well as a passenger. The investigation revealed that Devaney was allegedly in possession of several baggies that contained prescription drugs, police said.

Devaney was arrested and charged with possession of Adderall, possession of oxycodone, possession of prescription legend drugs, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and failure to keep right. She was then released pending a court appearance.
