Affinity Federal Credit Union to mark grand opening of new branch in Morris County

MADISON BOROUGH, NJ (Morris County)Affinity Federal Credit Union is celebrating the grand opening of its new branch in Madison Borough with a community celebration and ribbon cutting on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Located at 18 Elm Street, the branch opened in May 2023 and brings Affinity’s mission of enhancing the financial wellbeing of its members and the local communities to Madison.

“Madison is widely recognized for its vibrant community and thriving business center,” said Kevin Brauer, CEO of Affinity. “We are thrilled to expand our footprint in Morris County and become a fixture within the Madison community, providing residents with the financial wellbeing support and resources they need to safeguard their financial futures and meet their money goals.”

Affinity was drawn to the area’s unique culture and community make-up, which includes Drew University and Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Florham campus that educate more than 5,000 students combined. The organization is partnering with the North Jersey Chamber of Commerce to host the grand opening event, underscoring its commitment to forging new relationships with the local business community.

To celebrate the new branch, Affinity is offering an exclusive in-branch promotion to those who open certificates of deposit (CDs) between May 1, 2023, and June 30, 2023, providing a promotional rate of 4.85% Annual Percentage Yield (APY) on a 14-month certificate and 4.80% APY on a 22-month certificate.
