VERNON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – Mountain Creek Resort is excited to announce that its all-new snowtubing park is now open, offering more thrilling and adrenaline-fueled winter fun for families.
For $30, families can spend quality time sliding along five acres of snow at one the largest snowtubing parks in the tri-state area.
Due to recent snowfall, the park also offers ideal slope conditions from beginners to experts. No specialized equipment or lessons are required, but tickets must be purchased in advance.
Current hours of operation are as follows:
- Thursday: 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.
- Friday – Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Monday – Wednesday: Closed

To keep Mountain Creek Resort a safe and fun destination for their guests and team, numerous COVID-19 precautions and requirements have been put in place in accordance with federal, state and local health guidelines. Tickets must be purchased in advanced online in accordance with COVID-19 restrictions. Guests are no longer required to wear a mask indoors or outdoors at Mountain Creek Resort, but guests who are unvaccinated, under the age of 12 or feel they are at a higher risk for potentially spreading COVID-19 to others, are highly recommended to wear a mask. Mountain Creek Resort also asks guests who are feeling sick, or have family members who have been sick, to please stay home.
