Annual trout meeting to be held virtually on Saturday, March 4 at 10am

NEW JERSEY – The NJDEP Fish & Wildlife will be holding its annual trout stocking meeting virtually on Saturday, March 4, at 10:00 a.m.

This important meeting provides an opportunity for anglers to ask questions, voice their opinions, and give suggestions regarding New Jersey’s trout stocking program.

This year’s meeting will include the following topics:

  • Fish & Wildlife Update
  • Freshwater Fisheries Update
  • 2023 Hatchery Production
  • Trout Stocking Allocations
  • Trout Stocking Program Discussion

The presentations will be followed by an open public question period.

Anglers are also reminded that fishing is prohibited on trout stocked waters March 20 through April 8 for pre-season stocking. Catch and release for trout in all other waters.
