
Another Warren County business owner charged with violating non-essential business order
BLAIRSTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Blairstown Township business owner was charged Friday for allegedly violating Governor Phil Murphy’s executive order 107 that non-essential retail and entertainment centers to close, acting Warren County Prosecutor James Pfeiffer said.
The Blairstown Township Police Department charged Joyce Billings, 59, the owner of Past Time Pub located at 25 Main Street, with obstruction of the administration of law which is a disorderly persons offense, Pfeiffer said.
Billings was released pending a future court date.
The Washington Township Police Department charged David Merring, 62, the owner of Rock and Roll Billiards located at 432 Route 31, on Thursday with obstruction of the administration of law for also allegedly violating Murphy’s executive order 107, Pfeiffer said.
A disorderly person offense carries a potential penalty of fines, probation, or up to 180 days in county jail.
