Architectural lighting work to continue this week with single-lanes at Easton-Phillipsburg ‘free bridge’

Architectural lighting installation work is scheduled to continue at the three-lane Easton-Phillipsburg “free bridge”) until Friday, May 19, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

Expect the bridge to be reduced to single lanes in each direction 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on those dates.

Travel pattern configurations will vary day to day on the three-lane bridge, commission said.

Any travel impacts should be minor as a left turn lane is expected to remain available at the bridge’s Easton side during lane-closure periods, commission said.
