
‘Armed and dangerous’ Connecticut double homicide suspect last seen in Pennsylvania, police say
EAST STROUDSBURG, PA (Monroe County) – The New Jersey State Police Major Crimes North Unit and Connecticut State Police are seeking the public’s assistance with locating Peter Manfredonia, 23, who is wanted in connection to a double homicide in Connecticut.
On Friday, May 22, Manfredonia was allegedly seen leaving the scene of a homicide and serious assault on Mirtl Road in Willington, Ct. He then held a victim against his will after committing a home invasion on Turnpike Road in Willington, where he stole firearms and a truck. He then traveled to Derby, Ct where he abandoned the truck, Connecticut State Police said.
Manfredonia then allegedly went to the home of an acquaintance on Roosevelt Drive in Derby, where he killed another individual, Connecticut State Police said.
Manfredonia allegedly left in a 2016 black Volkswagen Jetta which was located Sunday in New Jersey near the Pennsylvania border. He then used a different form of transportation and traveled to East Stroudsburg, Pa, Connecticut State Police said.
Manfredonia was last seen wearing a gray shirt and gray pants is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached, Connecticut State Police said.
