At least 15 injured after bus overturns on Route 206 in Sussex County, state police say

MONTAGUE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – At least people were taken to the hospital after a bus overturned on Route 206 in Montague Township Thursday afternoon, New Jersey State Police Sergeant Lawrence Peele said.

The crash occurred at 3:42 p.m. on Route 206 northbound at milepost 128.6 in Montague Township, Peele said.

According to Peele, a bus overturned causing multiple injuries and at least 15 occupants were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, Peele said.
