UPDATE: Missing Morris County woman located, prosecutor says

UPDATE (2/8/23): “Through the extensive cooperative efforts of the Morristown Police Department, New York City Police Department, and other law enforcement agencies working with the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Missing Persons Unit, Glover was located,” Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said.

Prosecutor Carroll thanked our law enforcement partners for their efforts during this investigation, and the public for their assistance and for their expressions of concern about Glover’s wellbeing.

MORRISTOWN, NJ (Morris County) – Authorities are searching for a missing 25-year old woman from Morristown, according to Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll.

Imani Glover is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, 160 pounds, brown eyes, black hair, with a tattoo on her left wrist (Shantia) and on the back of her neck. She was last seen in 239 West 125 Street, New York, on Jan. 4 and is known to frequent the Newark area, Carroll said.

Glover was last seen by a family member in New York in the area of 239 West 15th Street on Wednesday, Jan. 4  with another female. She has ties in East Orange, Irvington, Newark, New Jersey and Harlem, New York, Carroll said.

Glover failed to appear for two scheduled court dates on Jan. 3 and on Jan. 30. Then on Jan. 8, Glover’s mother, reported her missing to the Morristown Police Department, Carroll said.

“The Morristown Police Department with the assistance of the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office has been diligently working on this active missing persons investigation, with the assistance of outside agencies, including municipal and out-of-state law enforcement agencies,” Carroll said.
