Authorities conducting death investigation in Morris Twp.

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Authorities are conducting an investigation after a man was found dead Tuesday in a wooded area in Morris Township, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp said.

According to Knapp, a deceased man was found in a wooded area near 25 Lindsley Drive.

The cause and manner of death are pending and the investigation remains ongoing, Knapp said.

The man’s identity was not released.

“It does not appear at this time that there is any risk to the general public,” Knapp said.
