
Authorities investigating after man found dead in Parsippany home
PARSIPPANY-TROY HILLS, NJ (Morris County) – Authorities are still investigating after a man was found dead in a Parsippany-Troy Hills home Monday, according to Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp.
Police received information on Sept. 9 regarding a deceased man inside a home in the area of Old Bloomfield Avenue, Knapp said.
The investigation confirmed that a deceased man’s body was located inside a residence in the area. The cause and manner of death are pending, Knapp said.
The investigation remains open and ongoing. The identity of the man was not released, Knapp said.
No further information was available.
The investigation is being conducted by members of the Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office – Crime Scene Investigation Unit, and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit.
