
Authorities searching for Hunterdon County bank robbery suspect
RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Authorities are looking for a suspect after a bank was robbed Thursday afternoon in Raritan Township.
On September 23, at around 1:35 p.m., Raritan Township Police responded to the PNC bank, which is located inside the Stop N Shop, on Route 31 for a bank robbery, authorities said.
The suspect presented a note to the teller demanding money and the teller complied with the request and the offender then fled the area, authorities said.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, approximately 160 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweater with light grey or white mask covering his face, authorities said.
There were no injuries, and no weapon was ever displayed, authorities said.
